Terms of use
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms cover the Rox account and the online leaderboards in Rox games such as Paper Tower Defense. Rox is run by Matheus Costa, an individual (Rox has no company registration yet). By creating a Rox account or submitting a score, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
1. Your account
- Rox accounts are for players 13+. A Rox account is optional; you can play without one.
- One Rox account works across every Rox game. Keep access to your sign-in method safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- The account is free and gives no in-game rewards or purchases.
2. Fair play
- Play the game as released. Do not modify the game, its files or memory, automate play, tamper with network requests, or exploit bugs to raise a score.
- Do not use more than one account to manipulate leaderboards, and do not share or sell accounts.
- Submitted runs are checked automatically. Runs that look impossible may be hidden.
3. Cheating
If we find cheating, we may remove the affected scores and ban the account from leaderboards or from Rox accounts entirely. If you believe a decision is wrong, email privacy@somosrox.com and we will review it.
4. Display names
Display names are public. Do not use a name that:
- is offensive, hateful, sexual or harassing;
- impersonates another person, Rox or a brand;
- contains personal data such as an email address, phone number or real address;
- contains links or advertising.
We may change or reset a display name that breaks these rules.
5. Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time: how to delete your Rox account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or close the account service or leaderboards with reasonable notice in the app. Your records on your device are not affected.
6. The service and liability
- Rox games and accounts are provided free, "as is" and "as available". Leaderboards may be reset, scores may be lost, and the service may change or be unavailable.
- To the extent permitted by law, Rox is not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Brazilian consumer law (Código de Defesa do Consumidor) that cannot be waived.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. For important changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes go to the courts of Brazil, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to file at the court of your own domicile.
